News of the worst kind
Found out this morning that Murray Goodman, stalwart fencing coach and warmly remembered by many of us as one of the first, real coaches who took and interest and showed us how it should be done, passed away over the weekend.
As one of the driving forces behind Waimari Swords, then Blades Fencing Academy, then Christchurch Fencing Academy, Murray touched the lives, and shaped the lunges, of so many people throughout the years, myself included.
"Hooplah!" Murray, you will be missed.
